Caption:
This historic 1961 depicted a close view of a boxer left leg, and abdominopelvic skin, highlighting the cutaneous lesions that had developed as a consequence of a blastomycosis infection, caused by the dimorphic fungal organism of the genus, Blastomyces. The animal’s leg was being held outwardly, away from the dog’s body to better expose the infected areas.
