Under a magnification of 600X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Trichophyton ajelloi, formerly Keratinomyces ajelloi, designated strain X410, specifically focusing on the edge of an abortive cleistothecium, which is a cleistothecium containing sterile ascospores.
