Under a magnification of 600X, this photomicrograph depicted some of the ultrastructural morphology exhibited by the fungal organism, Nannizzia vanbreuseghemii, formerly known as Microsporum vanbreuseghemii. Note the asci as well as a cluster of eight ascospores.
