This historic image, captured in September 1963, depicts a mobile health clinic operating under the Lebanon County Communicable Disease Control Demonstration Project in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, a program managed by the U.S. Public Health Service. At the time, the clinic was providing polio vaccinations, as indicated by a Wellbee placard being set up in front of the vehicle to announce the availability of free polio vaccinations.
