This historic image from 1966, depicted four laboratory technicians, each at a microscope, performing investigative tasks associated with a malaria study that was taking place in the town of Tezpur, located in the state of Assam in northeastern India. These activities were under the guidance of India’s National Malaria Eradication Program (NMEP) .
