Under a magnification of 1000X, this photomicrograph highlighted some of the ultrastructural morphology of a number of Cronobacter sakazakii bacteria, formerly known as Enterobacter sakazakii, which had been processed using the Leifson flagellar stain. Note that each of these organisms possessed peritrichous flagella.
