This photograph shows a dorsal view of a patient’s left hand with a possible congenital malformation consistent with polysyndactyly, involving both supernumerary digits and digital fusion. Also note the malformed thumb, an unusual finding in these cases. This condition demonstrates autosomal dominant inheritance across four generations.
