Caption:
This photograph shows a palmar view of a patient’s left hand with a possible congenital malformation consistent with polysyndactyly, involving a supernumerary digit and digital fusion. Note the malformed thumb, an unusual finding in these cases. This condition demonstrates autosomal dominant inheritance across four generations. See PHIL 30130 for a dorsal view of this condition.
