Caption:
This photograph shows a dorsal view of a patient’s left hand with a possible congenital malformation consistent with polysyndactyly, involving supernumerary digits and digital fusion of the fourth and fifth digits. Also note the malformed thumb, an unusual finding in these cases. This condition demonstrates autosomal dominant inheritance across four generations.
