This image depicts an anterior view of the right forearm of a patient who underwent a schistosomiasis skin test and returned for evaluation of the results. The three intradermal antigen injection sites are circled, and the inflammatory reaction at the most proximal site is outlined. This skin test can be used to determine whether the patient has been exposed to Schistosoma spp. parasites.
