This 1964 graphic depicts the “Aesculapius Award for Mammography” presented to Robert L. Egan, MD, for his contributions to the field of mammography. His work was recognized as the “Outstanding Scientific Exhibit” at the Twelfth Annual Meeting of the Rocky Mountain Medical Conference and the Sixth Annual Meeting of the Nevada State Medical Association, held October 30–November 2, 1963. The award was presented by Mead Johnson Laboratories.
