Roberts is receiving the Award for Sustained Superior Performance from Ad Harris, President of the Board of Trustees of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Standing third from the left is bacteriologist Dr. Joseph Portnoy, alongside Assistant Chief of the Venereal Disease Branch Dr. Willie G. Simpson.
