This image was captured June 21, 1962, inside the Communicable Disease Center’s (CDC) Auditorium, which was situated inside the former Building 1 on the Center’s Roybal Campus Headquarters, in Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia. At this point in the Awards Ceremony, CDC Parasitologist, Dr. Alan W. Donaldson, on the left, was presenting a plaque to Chief of the Training Branch, Dr. Donald S. Martin, for his Branch’s leadership during the CDC’s June Savings Bond Drive.
