This historic photograph was captured in June 1957, and depicts a group portrait of attendees to a Communicable Disease Center (CDC) course that was geared to Foreign Engineers in the realm of public health practice. The course was lead by Joseph Borches, who was standing in the back row on the far-right end, and though the attendees were not identified, the countries that had been represented included Iran, Peru, Libya, Japan, Taiwan (formerly Formosa), and Israel.
