This historic photograph, captured in October 1957, depicts a group portrait of instructors and attendees of a Communicable Disease Center (CDC) class entitled “Laboratory Methods in the Diagnosis of Parasitic Diseases.” Two well-known instructors are also visible in the group: Dr. Irving G. Kagan, standing on the far right in the third row, and Dr. Marion M. Brooke, standing in the second row, second from the left.
