This photograph depicts a female patient in the lithotomy position with multiple raised lesions involving the left labium minus and perianal region. Following differential diagnostic evaluation, the lesions were diagnosed as manifestations of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), a sexually transmitted infection caused by invasive serovars of the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis.
