Captured in 1975, this image was part of a slideshow that was used to familiarize public health inspectors with the unsanitary conditions commonly found inside migrant worker camps. This particular photograph highlighted the methods by which camp food is stored, prepared, cooked and how waste is disposed. Proper management of food is essential in maintaining a sanitary environment for migrant workers.
