Caption:
This image depicts an anterior view of a male patient’s genitalia, revealing a cutaneous lesion on the scrotum, which was determined to be a case of squamous cell carcinoma. Beginning as a cutaneous dysplastic lesion, the disease process progressed to the point where break-through occurred, violating the patency of the scrotal sac. Squamous cell carcinoma is slow growing, and if treated early, has a very high cure rate.
