Caption:
This 1975 image depicted an activity commonly encountered in a restaurant setting, highlighting the proper method, by which a server should handle a drinking glass when serving a customer a glass of water. Note how the server’s hand was not touching the rim of the glass, thereby, avoiding possible pathogen contamination. Health inspection involves consideration of food storage conditions, methods of food preparation, and the steps involved in how one serves prepared food to diners, just to name a few aspects of the health inspector's responsibilities.
