This 1975 image depicted a broken grocery store’s food larder screen door, located inside a migrant labor camp. The health inspector found that the torn screen, could lead to an insect infestation. Health inspection involves consideration of food storage conditions, methods of food preparation, and the steps involved in how one serves prepared food to diners, just to name a few aspects of the health inspector's responsibilities.
