ID#: 7554
Caption:
At a magnification of 1438X, this 2005 scanning electron microscopic (SEM) image depicted the magnified, roughened surface of a Vitis sp., red table grape. Note that what would appear to be a smooth surface by the unaided eye, is actually roughly surface. Comparing this grape’s surface to that of the white table grape, i.e., PHIL ID#s 7556, 7557, 7558, 7559, you’ll not that this red table grape’s surface is far rougher than that of the white table grape.
