At a magnification of 1478X, this 2005 scanning electron microscopic (SEM) image depicted the magnified, roughened surface of a Vitis sp., white table grape. Note that what would appear to be a smooth surface by the unaided eye, is actually roughly surface, though still quite a bit smoother than its red table grape cousin seen in PHIL 7554 and 7555.
