This is a photomicrograph of a biopsy specimen, harvested from an early Kaposi's sarcoma skin lesion, from a patient with acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). The histopathology reveals perivascular proliferation of spindle cells, and adjacent lymphocytic infiltrates.
