Workforce Population Charts
Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Current Population Survey (CPS)

Workforce Population charts are based on the CPS Labor Force Statistics database. This database contains aggregated survey responses that reflect the civilian noninstitutional population. This population excludes people serving in the Armed Forces, and people living in institutions such as residential nursing and care facilities and correctional institutions. Only persons age 16 and over that are classified as in the labor force are included in the charts.
